Powerwash / Reset Chromebook

If you are experiencing issues with your Chromebook, please try performing a Powerwash to reset the computer. After the Powerwash, you will be able to login again and restore all of your data. This should resolve the majority of issues with your Chromebook. 


If this does not resolve the problem, please contact support at support@rocs.org or by calling (888) 303-7077. 


Factory reset your Chromebook

  1. Sign out of your Chromebook.
  2. Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r.
  3. Select Restart.
  4. In the box that appears, select Powerwash and then Continue.
  5. Follow the steps that appear and sign in with your Google Account.
  6. Once you've reset your Chromebook:
