This guide provides everything you need to know to get started with your ROCS Chromebook and Acellus platform, from unboxing to your first lesson.
Setting Up Your Chromebook:
Unbox and Power On:
- Press the Power button on your Chromebook to turn it on.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language and connect to your home WiFi.
Sign In with Your ROCS Account:
- Use your ROCS email (
[email protected]
) to sign in. - For first-time logins, you’ll need the temporary password provided by your advisor. Contact support if you haven’t received it.

Update Your Chromebook:
- Ensure your Chromebook is fully updated by checking for updates in the settings. This will help prevent any issues during your lessons.
Install Necessary Extensions:
- If your teacher has recommended any Chrome extensions, make sure to install them before starting your lessons.
Logging into Acellus:
Access the Acellus Platform:
- Go to signin.acellus.com using the Chrome browser on your Chromebook.
- Enter your ROCS username and password.
Navigating the Dashboard:
- Once logged in, your Acellus dashboard will display all the courses you’re enrolled in.
- Click on a course to start your lessons.
Start Your First Lesson:
- Click on the first lesson in your course. Watch the instructional video and complete the accompanying quiz.
- Acellus will automatically track your progress and save your work.
