Student Chromebook Guide

  • Username: [email protected]
  • Password: Look for a paper inside your Chromebook Box or CALL (888) 303-7077 for PASSWORD
  1. Please unbox and open your Chromebook, then press the Power Button 
    1. Located in the top right of the keyboard
  2. Welcome
    1. After your Chromebook loads, please click Let’s Go
  3. Connect to Network
    1. Please find for your home WiFi network and enter your WiFi password
  4. Google Chrome OS Terms
    1. Please Accept and continue
    2. Optional: you can toggle off the Help make Chrome better button
  5. Checking for updates
    1. Please install updates if available. This may take a few minutes
  6. Sign in to your Chromebook
    1. Please enter your ROCS email address and temporary password
    2. Email: [email protected]
    3. Password:Look for a paper inside your Chromebook Box or CALL (888) 303-7077 for PASSWORD
  7. Create a strong password
    1. Enter a strong password (8 or more characters with upper and lowercase letters and a number or symbol) and select Next
  8. You’re signed in!
    1. Please Accept and continue
  9. Your Chromebook is now set up!
    1. Feel free to start exploring your Chromebook
    2. Chrome will be used to access Acellus and browse the web
    3. Acellus will be used to access student materials and courses
    4. Gmail will be used for communication with teachers and classmates
